Social Skills: Transitioning to Middle School

The transition from elementary school to middle school can be nerve-racking. Students face a new school, new teachers, and different classmates—all while approaching or already experiencing puberty. Let us help your child navigate this transition!

During the Social Skills Workshop, we will cover:

• Promoting self expression in healthy ways
  
• Gaining confidence through creativity
• Boosting social and emotional engagement through conflict resolution strategies
• Learning mindfulness and calming skills to regulate emotion

Activities will include:

• Crafts like affirmation rocks and modeling a comfort creature with clay
• Games like a mindfulness obstacle course and marshmallow engineering
• Kids will go home with a swag bag filled with crafts, local business goodies and parent resources

Our new address is 450 N Wales Rd, Wales, WI 53183. We are located in the downstairs unit of the blue house just off of the 83/18 roundabout. Our unit is only accessible from Route 18. Please take the road directly behind the Starbucks and head back to our parking lot.

We’re so excited to have you join us! Because our workshops require advance preparation and limited seating, we ask that you review and respect the following cancellation policy.

By signing up for a workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the following cancellation terms:

• 48+ Hours Before the Workshop:
  If you cancel 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time, you will receive a full refund (100%).
• 24–48 Hours Before the Workshop:
  Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the workshop start time are eligible for a 50% refund.
• Less Than 24 Hours Before the Workshop:
  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the workshop are non-refundable.

We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel, you’re always welcome to reschedule for a future workshop at no additional charge, subject to availability.
